Although the administrators and moderators of Insanitek will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of Insanitek, nor Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.

While there is a rudimentary spam filter in place with vBulletin, it never does seem to be enough. Thus, a list of offenses has been populated and is listed below. It takes more than one offense to be chucked in the dungeon though. The people that are thrown in are typically persistent, have several complaints filed against them, or have achieved a reputation of extremely low status. Insanitek does not want to have these sorts of people about in the forums, thus they are banned temporarily. If they continue to be an unbearable annoyance, they are banned permanently. The list of offenses: Inappropriate language - This includes, but is not limited to, rampant swearing, obviously pornographic remarks, lewdness and anything else that is considered overtly offensive. Insulting other member(s) - This should be self-explanatory. While this may be misconstrued with constructive critisism, it is advised that you consider your words carefully. Name calling is immature, so refrain from it. Morphing - Having many aliases that enable you to be more of a nuisance. Immediate and permanent banning follow upon being discovered, no questions asked. Signature rule violation - Having a signature that is offensive in some way described by any of the other offenses. Spamming - Using the comments to sell real estate, mortgage assessments, little blue pills, porn, or Russian mail-order brides. Spammers are not tolerated at all. Stupidity - It is amazing how many outrageous and foolish things can be said; those that seem to say nothing but willfully stupid things are tossed out. Use the common sense you were born with and if you were born lacking, dial up a friend and use theirs. Troll - Making comments intended only to disrupt a thread and incite flames and confusion. Wanking - being a general presumputous, pretentious, pompous, prick. ***Insanitek reserves the right to edit, update and change this list without warning.***
